If you have made a purchase in the last 6 years from Zenith Staybrite or Clearwin Limited who traded as Zenith Home Improvements, you need to read the following information as you may still have your guarantee intact and you may be entitled to a refund.

Zenith Staybrite entered liquidation on the 31st August 2017 and at that point many customers were left in limbo and worried about their 10 year guarantee.

In June 2017, under the Ministry of Justice rules that apply here in the UK, Zenith Staybrite were found guilty of fraud and fined £80,000 for “Quoting an initial inflated price before applying a number of discounts to give the impression of a bargain. Falsely stating that products would be available at a particular price for a limited time to persuade customers to make an immediate decision”, the complaint was brought by Trading Standards in Guildford, Surrey.

You may be approached by a third party organisation by the name of Bee Carefree, this is a trading style of Altrincham Home LTD whose Company registration number is:  12120428. This Company was registered in England on 24th July 2019 and changed it's name from  Patrick Properties Groupco Limited on 18th October 2019.  Bee Carefree are writing letters to customers or calling them on the telephone telling them that they have taken over ownership of your Contract, and that you owe them the outstanding sums, they are also introducing a "third party" finance company by the name of Propensio Finance who they say will contact you to arrange your finance to transfer over to them. DO NOT SIGN ANY NEW CONTRACTS - YOU DO NOT HAVE A CONTRACT WITH THEM - YOUR CONTRACT IS WITH CLEARWIN WHO ARE IN ADMINISTRATION.

In nearly all cases, the salesperson over stayed their welcome in some cases staying for over 8 hours, they refused to leave and they ignored customers when they were told "NOT INTERESTED".
