Since the UK Government announced their Net Zero Carbon target of reaching zero Carbon by 2050, the plumbing and heating industry has seen massive changes, some of those changes maybe for the better and some may not.
The UK became the first major economy in the world to pass laws to end its contribution to global warming by 2050. The target will require the UK to bring all greenhouse gas emissions to net zero by 2050, compared with the previous target of at least 80% reduction from 1990 levels.
The UK has already reduced emissions by 42% while growing the economy by 72% and has put clean growth at the heart of our modern industrial strategy. This could see the number of “green collar jobs” grow to 2 million and the value of exports from the low carbon economy grow to £170 billion a year by 2030.
The UK Government also announced that they want 600,000 Air Source Heat Pumps to be installed every year until 2028, this is a massive 4.2 million installations and this has been seen as one of the major influences in the gas and heating industry for many years.
Unfortunately this will also see many rogue traders and unethical traders selling and installing the product incorrectly. We have already got over 60 complaints against businesses that have carried out installations that are either undersized for the property or they have been installed where the property does not meet the required standards and the home owners are not able to claim the RHI payments.
The same thing happened in the solar panels industry, all sales companies and installers had to be registered with MCS, but not all were. if you had problems with your solar panels, call Hydrogard as you may be able to make a solar panel refund claim.
If your air source heat pump is not performing as it should and you would like to undertake a complaint then Hydrogard Legal Services can help you through your claim, we have extensive knowledge and we are happy to impart this to you so you can do the claim and save yourself money on charges claims management companies and solicitors charge, just call our freephone number:

You must have all of the necessary paperwork, if you are unsure call us on 08000 74 84 94
Regardless of whether the Company are still trading or not, if you bought an air source heat pump and paid using a regulated agreement or credit card, then you can make a claim under the Consumer Credit Act against the Lender or Credit Card Company.
If you paid any amount on a Credit Card or used a Regulated Credit Agreement then we can help you make your complaint, did you purchase Zenith Windows or solar panels, if you did you may be able to get a solar panel refund.
When you purchased your air source heat pump, were you told you would receive the Government RHI payments, but have waited years for that to start? Were you informed that you needed a current Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) to get the RHI payments?
Have your electricity bills increased particularly over the winter periods? Have you still got your gas or oil boiler running alongside the heat pump and were you told this would save you money? The heat pump does not provide you with enough hot water or heating like you were told it would, particularly in the cold of winter? Are your rooms always cold and do you suffer with problems or has it broken down?
If you would like our help to raise a claim, then we can give you all of the information you will need to make a claim and we can support you with our knowledge.
Hydrogard Legal Services were set-up in 2016 to help innocent consumers who have been mis-sold home improvement products in their own home, exactly the same as solar panels, the air source heat pumps and Zenith Windows.
Your are protected under UK law providing you have paid using a regulated credit agreement or made a part payment (as little as £100) on a credit card.

We all know that climate change is happening, hence the push for air source heat pumps, solar panels, certainly science seems to prove this point, but are we being pushed towards a “Green” future that is being misrepresented to us all?
