 Our Legal Services Director is David Lewis, David has been professionally practicing since 1972 and has an extensive knowledge of the Law. You should consider arbitration services when two parties involved in a dispute  cannot agree a satisfactory resolution between themselves, then it would be a good idea to use arbitration.

When you use arbitration the parties give the power to decide the dispute to the arbitrator. Both evidence and argument are considered and a written arbitration agreement is issued.

A business to consumer dispute can occur when a home owner engages a third party business to undertake work in their home. 

The work should be agreed in a formal contract and this should detail exactly what the consumer thinks they are buying and getting and on the contrary, it should list and detail all of the services the supplier or business is agreeing to. 

A formal contract should stop most of the disputes that arise, but that doesn't take into consideration any disputes for workmanship or failure to complete a contract, these are just some of the things that can cause a dispute.

Hydrogard Legal Services are registered with the FCA for Claims Management Services, which means since May 2016 we have seen the problems that consumers have faced and most of their complaints could have been dealt with by using a legally binding contract, which details everything both parties agree to, then the only dispute available is the quality of the work.
